Located in the n the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, Pleasant View Elementary School serves 500 students in grades Pre-K-5. In addition to a continuum of special education programming, the school offers ESL in an integrated setting.  Students are supported by a Reading Specialist, a Math Specialist, an English Language Collaborative Teacher, and a support staff team which includes a social worker and school psychologist. The school is newly renovated with state of the art facilities that are highly accessible. Afterschool programming is provided through Providence Recreation at the Batastini Recreation Center. Pleasant View partners with Rhode Island College and Providence College to provide practicum placements for educators in training as well as student teachers.
