Tracey Learned
Tracey Learned is the current Principal at Pleasant View Elementary School. She has been working in education for the past 34 years, the last four in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, she was the Principal at Nayatt School in Barrington for nine and a half years.
Tracey earned her Bachelor's in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts. She then received her Master's in Educational Leadership from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island.
Tracey's vision for the upcoming school year at Pleasant View Elementary School is to support the students, staff, and families, and to continue to grow and progress in student achievement, family engagement, and a sense of belonging.

Allison Gruskin
Allison Gruskin is the Assistant Principal at Pleasant View Elementary School. Prior to this, Gruskin served as Assistant Principal DelSesto Middle School and Young Woods Elementary School. She holds two master's degrees in education: Curriculum and Instruction and Leadership and Policy. An alumni of Teach for America, Gruskin graduated from the TNTP Fellowship in June 2024, concentrating on instruction and equity in education.
